WILL YOUR CITY SURVIVE 10,000 YEARS?

Begin with a handful of people, a crackling campfire, and an untouched landscape beside the Seine. Lay the first paths, gather food, and give your little community a place to call home. Then watch it grow, one hut, one bridge, and one generation at a time, into a bustling modern Paris.

A LITTLE SETTLEMENT WITH A BIG FUTURE

You create the conditions for your city to flourish, but its inhabitants bring it to life.

Build roads, provide services, connect resources, and make your people feel safe and cared for. They will choose where to settle, build their own homes, learn new crafts, raise animals, cultivate the land, and gradually fill the world with activity.

TEN THOUSAND YEARS, ONE CITY

Guide Paris through seven eras, from the Paleolithic to Modern Times.

Each age brings new buildings, services, professions, and possibilities, but nothing is wiped clean when you move forward. A muddy path can become a medieval street and, centuries later, a busy modern avenue. An ancient bridge might shape an entire district. A humble hut may survive long after the world around it has changed.

Every generation builds on the last, turning your city into a record of its own history.

WATCH PARIS GROW AT YOUR OWN PACE

Homes, farms, workshops, and neighbourhoods emerge in response to the world you create. Roads encourage development. Wells provide water, while granaries create jobs for peasants. Security, services, and beautiful surroundings make each area a desirable place to live.

Guide the city’s growth, then sit back and enjoy watching your plans take on a life of their own. Each new stage brings new challenges, but your city won’t explode if you decide to slow down and decorate for a while.

CARE FOR A CHANGING COMMUNITY

Your people’s needs evolve alongside their city.

What begins with food, shelter, and a warm communal fire gradually grows to include trade, government, faith, entertainment, education, transport, and modern public services.

Peasants, craftspeople, merchants, nobles, citizens, and workers each bring something new to Paris, and each has their own idea of what makes a good life.

A COSY WORLD FULL OF TINY DETAILS

Zoom in and watch daily life unfold across a colourful isometric pixel-art landscape.

Follow your inhabitants as they hunt, fish, farm, build, trade, travel, and gather together. Watch fields sway beside growing villages, boats drift along the Seine, animals roam the countryside, and clusters of little homes grow into lively towns.

There is plenty happening beneath the cosy surface, but you can always pause, look around, and enjoy the world your people have created.

MAKE ROOM FOR THE FUTURE...OR KEEP A PIECE OF THE PAST

As Paris grows, old buildings and roads may stand in the way of progress.

Replace them, build around them, or preserve them as part of the city’s history. The choices you make in each era leave visible traces, creating a Paris that belongs entirely to you.

And if you become attached to one particular prehistoric resident, you might even try to keep him and his little hut around all the way to Modern Times.
