[2D Platformer]

The gameplay in “SakuSaku Witch” is very simple.

Walk, run, jump, and cast spells.

That’s basically it.

Are you looking for a game you can play casually between sessions of complex, challenging games?

If so, this is the perfect game for you.

A 2D platformer that’s simple yet satisfying.

Some sections let you breeze through, while others are laced with “first-time-killer” traps…!?

But don’t worry. You can respawn instantly, and with checkpoints scattered everywhere, retrying is a breeze.

“Snappy to play, satisfyingly challenging! ”. This tagline is no exaggeration.

The stage design, packed with player-friendly features, is guaranteed to entertain you to the fullest.

We’re bringing you the ultimate casual action game!

[A pitiful yet adorable little witch who dies in comical ways over the slightest thing!?]

This main character, Oreko, is weak...

If she gets in the water, she drowns instantly. If she gets crushed by a falling pillar, she gets flattened to a pancake... If she touches a flame, she bursts into flames and goes on a rampage.

It’s a little sad, but that’s what makes her cute. Please come witness Oreko-chan’s heroic moments.

[Cute Graphics]

Vibrant and cute pixel art reminiscent of SNES action games.

The protagonist, Oreko, has a cute and energetic look as she runs frantically around the screen.

The enemies are (mostly) cute too—you’re sure to find them soothing!

[Retro yet fresh. An homage to classic action games of yesteryear]

Mario, Donkey Kong Country, Goemon… The game is peppered with homages to countless classic retro games.

It evokes a sense of nostalgia while also feeling like a modern 2D action game with a polished, refined feel.

【A wide variety of elements】

・A variety of stages across 5 worlds. Each world features a mid-boss and a boss. The bosses might even surprise you with their eerie appearances—a far cry from the usual cute enemies!

・If you give the gatekeeper at the checkpoint the Bunny Coins you’ve collected on the stage as a bribe, they’ll let you through so you can take on the boss stage.

・Enter the Bunny-Ear warp doors found in stages to play mini-games! These vary in content—from collecting coins within a time limit to defeating enemies. You’ll earn Usako Coins as a reward.

・Use the coins you collect in stages to buy items at the shop that will help you on your adventure.

・The protagonist, Oreko, transforms into a frog when he touches the water (?) spewing from the frog statue! As a frog, taking any damage means instant death!? You won’t even be able to attack. However, there’s one silver lining: as a frog, you can dive underwater! Turn a crisis into an opportunity to overcome the challenge.

・Touch a magic scroll to power up your magic for a limited time! Your magic attacks become massive and even pierce through enemies! There might even be blocks that can only be destroyed while powered up!?

・Touch the broom Oreko is floating on, and—surprise!—the game switches to a side-scrolling shoot ’em up mode! Shoot down the oncoming enemies left and right.

・In villages and towns, you can enjoy comical conversations with the residents. Some of them will even ask you to take on side quests.
