Bug Bus is a first-person action-management game in which you transport the young of different insect species safely to their schools.

Your job is about more than completing the journey. You are responsible for the safety, comfort, and well-being of every young passenger living aboard the bus. To guide them through dangerous routes, you must organize their mobile home, defend it from attacks, and prepare carefully for every new trip.

Explore the interior from a first-person perspective. Build suitable nests and living spaces for different insect species, prepare the food they need, and repair damaged areas. Rearrange the interior and make the most of the limited space according to your preferred playstyle.

Every species has different needs and provides different benefits to the Bug Bus. A larger and more diverse group of passengers offers greater advantages, but also increases your responsibilities for their care, safety, and living conditions.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR PASSENGERS ❤️

Life inside the bus does not stop while the journey continues. Food supplies can run low, habitats can be damaged, and disputes may break out between the young of different species.

Identify problems before they grow, feed your passengers, repair their nests, and break up fights. A small need left unattended can eventually become a serious problem that threatens the entire journey.

The condition of the Bug Bus also affects life inside it. Heavy attacks can damage not only the vehicle’s armor, but also the nests and passengers you are trying to protect.

PREPARE BEFORE EVERY JOURNEY 🔧

Before entering a dangerous region, use the workshop to prepare the Bug Bus. Turn natural materials and scraps left behind by humans into weapons, ammunition, armor, food, and new habitats.

Arrange the vehicle’s weapon mounts according to your combat plan. Use different effects such as direct damage, area control, stunning, knockback, and damage over time. Choose armor that provides the right balance between durability, mobility, and offensive power.

Your preparations are more than simple stat upgrades. The weapons you equip, the space you dedicate to habitats, and the passengers you choose to protect determine how you can respond to problems during the journey.

DEFEND THE BUG BUS ON DANGEROUS ROUTES 🛡️

The insect-sized world is filled with towering grass, dirt mounds, roots, rocks, spider webs, and objects left behind by humans. But this world contains far more than resources waiting to be collected.

Predatory insects, spiders, and other hostile creatures may try to stop your journey. Some attack the Bug Bus directly, while others can restrict its movement, approach vulnerable areas, or endanger the passengers inside.

When an attack begins, switch to the appropriate weapon, choose your target, and take direct control of the vehicle’s defenses. Keep track of your ammunition, the condition of the bus, and any problems developing inside. Defeating enemies is not enough—your true objective is to deliver every young passenger safely to school.

MAKE THE MOST OF SCHOOL HOURS ⏰

The day does not end when you drop the passengers off at school. While the Bug Bus waits in a safe area, you can explore the surroundings and gather materials for the next journey.

Settle for nearby, safer resources or venture into dangerous areas in search of more valuable materials. Whatever you choose, you must return before school ends. Staying out too long for one more valuable resource could put the return trip—and the passengers entrusted to you—at risk.

Bring your collected materials back to the bus, repair any damage, craft new equipment, and rearrange the habitats for the next service. The preparations you make inside affect every journey, while the events of each journey continue to shape life aboard the bus.

BUILD YOUR OWN MOBILE HOME 🏡

Every new nest changes the population, needs, and capabilities of the Bug Bus. Carrying more young passengers brings greater responsibility, but it also makes your mobile colony stronger.

Create habitats for different species, adapt the interior to their needs, and prepare the external defenses for the threats you expect to encounter. You will not have enough space for everything, so you must decide which passengers, equipment, and defensive systems deserve priority.
