The tower climbs with you, even when you're not looking

AFKTower is a pixel-art idle RPG that docks to the edge of your screen as a thin, always-visible bar. Your hero fights, climbs floors and picks up loot while you do other things. And when you close the game, it keeps collecting gold and experience for up to 12 hours. This demo is the real tower, up to floor 500.

What the demo includes

The first 500 floors: Hell, the Caves and half the Surface, each zone with its own enemies, background and map scroll.

10 key-gated bosses, plus elites and minibosses, with their affixes and rewards. The floor-500 boss is the end of the demo.

12-rarity loot, from Crude to Mythic, with affixes, powers and enchantment gems. From Unique up, armor truly protects.

4 classes and 8 weapons: Warrior, Ranger, Arcanist and Assassin. Switching weapons switches your class, your skills and your model.

The synthesis forge, the Paragon Constellation and the Upgrades tree, exactly as they are in the full game.

Up to 12 hours of progress while closed, 4 bar sizes, an original soundtrack, and an interface in English and Spanish.

What it does not include

The demo keeps its own save and it does not carry over: the full game starts from floor 1, with 9,500 more floors ahead.

It grants no Steam achievements and uses no cloud saves.

The DLC heroines show up in the Wardrobe behind their lock, but they do not unlock in the demo.

Star Glyphs, the Seal of the Void and the high-band systems arrive from floor 1000 onward, in the full game.

How it plays

Open the bar and the tower is already climbing. Your hero attacks on its own and casts its skills, but enemy damage grows with you: watching the numbers rise is not enough. You equip what drops, synthesize duplicate loot in the forge, spend points in the Constellation and buy upgrades with gold. Every 50 floors, a key-gated boss; every 200, a new zone.

The full game

A 10,000-floor tower in 10 blocks and 50 zones, 150 enemies and 200 key-gated bosses, 32 skills with their ultimates, a 17-board Paragon Constellation, cross-band transfusion and Mythic Awakening. And more to come.
