Take control of the mortal world as you compete against other warring civilizations in Irkalla — a turn-based 4X strategy game centered on conquest, faith, and governance.

Lead your armies, forge alliances, and decide whether your empire will rule by the sword, through treaties, or by faith in the Truth that will change the very world itself.

Lead one of four races, split into eight facitons:

Each faction has been inspired by clear real world civilisation when it comes to aesthethic, and come with unique roster of units, starting spell schools and technologies.

• Recruit and command heroes: your heroes level up, learn skills, lead your armies, and explore the world to uncover its secrets.

• Journey through five historical eras: the Ancient, Classical, Middle, High, and Mythical eras — scientific discoveries allow you to build and upgrade new structures and units, and unlock new paths to victory.

• Devote yourself to magic and the discovery of forgotten knowledge; choose your Truth and summon its wonders through faith, or focus on technological superiority. Or perhaps you’ll combine all three?

Three ways for victory:

• Conquest is not the only path to victory. Eliminate all rivals to become the undisputed ruler of Irkalla, or control all lands alongside your allies to achieve a alliance victory. Or choose and spread one of the Seven Truths — competing philosophies regarding the nature of reality itself, until it defines the world.

• An AI that remembers: Political decisions are driven not only by calculation but also by memory. Each AI leader approaches them differently. Gifts, alliances, betrayals, and wars leave a lasting mark that will be more significant and endure longer in the memory of some leaders than in others.

Gameplay:

• Provinces: The world is divided into provinces, and every conquered territory must be maintained, managed, and defended against enemies.

• Automatic Battles: Battles are fast-paced and tactical, and their outcome is determined by strategy and proper preparation — not by quick reflexes. Watch animated battle replays influenced by unit traits, composition, and the heroes commanding the battle.

• Script your heroes to cast a specific spells in battles, or summon devasting spells on world map.

• Procedurally Generated Maps: Choose from four map types and rediscover the world as you explore provinces, fight for legendary locations, and face off against new enemies.

Rule as an undead, immortal Sorcerer-King, lead as a commander with a dragon’s temperament, or take on any other role you choose — all that matters is victory.
