I first discovered Red Alert back in the mid 90's and was instantly hooked, so many RTS games consumed me but after all these years, Red Alert, Sudden Strike 2 and Company of Heroes stuck with me, but it missed one crucial thing I kept yearning for... that was proper cover mechanics and better soldier AI logic.

So Defilade came along... the Idea started in early 2022, with prototyping, and 2026 was the year this idea came to its full form.

SOLDIERS

The soldiers think a lot and i mean a lot! Almost every single object, vehicle even trees standing or blown off, gets used as cover. They heal, plan rescues, deep trench warfare, garrison buildings and medic teams even use stretchers to pick wounded up from the battlefield. When one of the medics gets killed the other medic will put down he's stretcher and drag the soldier.

PRISONER SYTEM

Soldiers can surrender and when they do they get interrogated, and they can spill live intel on you or the enemy.
