The waterfront mansions are lit up. Outside the nightclub sit cars you can’t afford.

The voice on the phone says there’s good money in a simple job. You can tell he’s leaving something out.

You weren’t planning to settle for his first offer anyway.

Welcome to CRIME COAST, an urban narrative RPG told through text-driven choices, character illustrations, and branching stories. Start in the car business and find your way into street races, gunfights, shady deals, and adult romance. Bring your ambition, work the angles, and claim a piece of the life this city keeps putting in front of you.

Make your money. Make your own decisions.

Your eye for a car—and your nerve at the negotiating table—can turn a used vehicle into your next opportunity. Inspect, bargain, trade, and reinvest. Keep something special for your own garage.

Collect and modify cars, configure weapons, buy a home, and develop skills such as driving, shooting, insight, and negotiation. The right vehicle can help you finish a job. The right equipment can improve your chances when things turn ugly. A useful connection can open another door. Build enough experience, and you may get to name the terms next time.

Take the job. Change the deal.

Drive someone across town. Retrieve an item. Help a friend out. Dangerous work often comes with a very casual explanation.

Street calls, staged races, and larger operations put your preparation and judgment to work. Renegotiate, call in a favor, change your approach, enter a gunfight, or leave before the cost gets out of hand. Your profession, actual vehicle, weapon loadout, and relationships affect available choices and outcomes.

Sometimes you need a gun. Sometimes you need the right words. Sometimes you need someone willing to pick up the phone. A clever solution—or an absurd turn of events—can become a story worth telling.

Get her attention. Discover who she really is.

She might negotiate harder than you, take bigger risks, and care more than you realize about something you said last night.

Meet adult characters with careers, tempers, secrets, and desires of their own. Flirt over dinner, get closer on the dance floor, face trouble together, and gradually enter each other’s private lives. She may message first, send a photo, suggest a meeting, or remember something you actually did together.

Deeper relationships bring new interactions, private moments, and shared memories. You might fall for a side of her she keeps hidden from everyone else. You might also discover that her feelings and her ambitions both involve you.

Everyone has an angle. Find yours.

Gangsters want profit. Police want closed cases. Federal agents have their own priorities. The people in expensive suits would prefer someone else to pick up the bill.

Crime conspiracies meet ridiculous campaign stunts, shifting deals, and respectable people making spectacular mistakes. These factions exploit one another, misjudge situations, and leave openings. Investigate, negotiate, and find opportunities in their competing interests.

Earnings, injuries, vehicle damage, police attention, and personal favors carry into later events. A decision can open a door—or change how someone sees you. What you pursue, and who deserves the risk, becomes part of your story.

You earned the good life. Enjoy some of it.

Let the next job wait. Take out a favorite car, invite her to dinner, go dancing, play a few casino games, or listen to the radio while deciding what to spend your next payday on.

Follow the main story, explore career stories, build relationships, and enjoy city life at your own pace. Time advances through your actions, with no offline penalties or passive relationship decay. Pause a story and return later. After the main storyline ends, keep living in the city with your vehicles, possessions, connections, and shared history.
