Keep the earth shield online and operational!

Powered by four separate pylons, the Earth shield provides a secondary layer of defense for any asteroids that slip past your guard. You must seek out and collect power cells during your patrol of the stars. As you travel between each pylon, keep a close watch over the power levels, making sure to install power cells into any failing pylon.

If all four pylons fail then the Earth defense shield will power down. Without the shield Earth can only survive several asteroid impacts before it is destroyed!
