Operation Stutter is a first-person psychological horror game set in the shadow of the Cold War, where the line between reality and delusion begins to blur. As nuclear annihilation looms, you descend into a haunting, fractured narrative, uncovering a top-secret operation, unraveling your identity, and confronting the paranoia that threatens to consume you.

You wake up in a cold, dimly lit room deep inside a sprawling nuclear facility. You don’t know your name. You don’t know why you’re here. And you don’t know why fragments of your memory feel… wrong.

As you explore the winding corridors and shadowed chambers, you begin to uncover whispers of a classified program — Operation Stutter. But the deeper you dig, the more reality itself begins to fracture. Environments shift as if the facility itself is alive. Familiar places feel unfamiliar. And not only your mind and this place seem to haunt you… there’s something else lurking just beyond the edge of your perception.

Film Camera – Your only reliable tool in the dark. Capture anomalies, reveal hidden messages, and expose things that shouldn’t exist. Be careful: film is rare, and every shot matters.

Deliberate Combat – Rare and unsettling, the gun is not a power fantasy — it’s a desperate measure. Ammunition is scarce, and every bullet is a choice between survival now or danger later.

Survival Under Pressure – Limited tools, and a small inventory force you to prioritize what to carry and what to leave behind.

Puzzle & Discovery – Uncover the secrets of Operation Stutter by solving environmental puzzles, deciphering cryptic notes, and listening to old audio tapes. Every clue you find pulls you closer to understanding the truth.

Visuals & Atmosphere – Operation Stutter’s world is steeped in Cold War aesthetics and brutalist architecture, brought to life with the visual language of arthouse cinema inspired by the meticulous framing of Stanley Kubrick. Every environment feels alive — from concrete-clad corridors to flooded chambers, from sterile research labs to oppressive underground shelters. The interplay of light, shadow, and color creates a cinematic unease that reflects the story’s themes of paranoia and isolation.
