Pass Thru Fire is a domestically produced Chinese RPG featuring a narrative-driven mystery and puzzle-solving gameplay.

Plot

It happened on a certain day of a certain month in a certain year.

A world-renowned science and technology summit was scheduled to take place in Qingjiang City. At the same time, a gruesome dismemberment murder occurred at Qingjiang University—the very venue hosting the event. K-Wa'er, an unemployed former police officer, found himself drawn into the case. As the investigation deepened, more victims emerged one after another; even K-Wa'er's younger brother, Lu Lide—a student at the university—went missing, leaving the truth behind the case shrouded in baffling mystery...

Background

Like a fractured face.

The fictional city of Qingjiang—with its mayoral election and the whispered gossip of its citizens—conceals turbulent undercurrents beneath the polished facade of the Qingjiang Technology Expo. "K-wa'er" will navigate the city's corrupt and depraved streets, hunting for the killer behind the serial murders in the Qingjiang University dormitories and seeking the truth about his younger brother's disappearance...

Art Style

It is hard to say goodbye.

Spontaneously capturing impressions of urban fragments—gleaned from the author's eyes, mind, and heart—and recomposing them into the game's various scenes, the visuals present "Qingjiang City": a place that defies confinement to any specific time or location, feeling simultaneously distant and intimately close...

Tribute

Let it all drift away...

The game Pass Thru Fire takes its name from the rock poetry collection of the same title by rock musician Lou Reed.
